Youth Interns Program
Traditional Knowledge Seekers
This internship is in partnership with King County’s Youth Career Pathways program for Youth Affected By Gun Violence.
This unique internship provides a space for our youth to learn traditional teachings and create cultural connections with mentors with similar histories and experiences. Direct mentorship demonstrates that positive reinforcement makes change possible and there is a future outside the streets. It begins with returning to our most basic teachings of cultural protocols, the family nucleus, and knowledge of self.
